the Fua Hariphitak Exhibition Mahasarakham University, Isaan Thailand mobile Panorama

The exhbit does show much of the diversity of his work. Unfortunaly the lighting in the area makes it almost impossible to view parts of it. It is going on till the 30th of this month and is still worth a visit. If you click on you should be able to view full size

Fishing Shop, Beung Kaen Nakhon, khon kaen, isaan

A friend of mine was looking for a tackle shop that might also do reel repair. I pointed the one pictured to him

Fishing tackle shop Khonkaen isaan on Twitpic

The place has been there since the days you could go fishing on the lake and eat the fish without fear of glowing in the dark. From what my friernd said the place is quite the find. Has plenty of bits and pieces and can do repair as well.
So if you find yourself in town and need tackle or reapirs this is the place

Not so trashy in Isaan, cunning in Kalasin

These recycled rubbe, trash container are to be found throughout the region. The are usualy on stands a few inches off the ground and are sturdy and longlasting. To a dog these look like food bowls and are a terrible temptation. What of ten happens is the householder is a bit too lazy to bend down a take the lid off and put it back on, and sometimes the lids run away from home.

Well the town of Tha Kantho, in the Amphor of that name in the Provinve of Kalasin has upgraded to whole idea by setting the container on 4 legged stands. No more bending over for the lid and no more temptation for the neighborhood dogs.
